    Elementary Particle Physics, Lattice Supersymmetry

Research Description

My research area is superstring theory and supersymmetric gauge theories. In particular, I am interested in non-perturbative construction of supersymmetric gauge theories. We have recently constructed the 2D N=(2,2) supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory on a discretized Riemann surface (polygon). We are now investigating this model both from numerical and theoretical points of view. We are also interested in discretization of other two-dimensional theories and numerical study of 4D supersymmetric gauge theory by using the hybrid discretization; lattice and matrix. This will shed some light on quantum gravity.
